Meet Our President Miss Trisha
Magaw:
At the young age of 18,
this dynamic speaker set out to reach her peers with the message of
“abstinence” and “healthy Living”. Wanting desperately to help her peers live "purely" in thoughts, actions, and spoken words, Trisha has devoted
herself to motivating others to value themselves.
Trisha has been very
busy over the last 12 years traveling nationally and internationally
speaking to thousands of teenagers and single adults each year about
abstinence, modesty, self-esteem, and about having a health "pure" love
life.
A
recognized face on numerous media forms, you may remember seeing this
“teen expert” on the Montel Williams Show, Fox News Live, and hundreds
of other programs. She's recently worked with the BBC in England on a
documentary they're filming about abstinence in the US. And this past
month was interviewed by The New York Times.
Trisha lived what she preached!
Having made the decision at the age of 14 to wait for sex until she'd
wed, she'd certainly understood the pressures put on youth today and knows
first-hand the pressures to face everyday. A virgin until age 27,
Trisha didn't hide away in a bubble all those years to hide away from
the temptations of life, no, not at all, she took hold of her decision
and implemented it into her lifestyle. She grow into an
extremely confident young lady who knew her boundaries and set a high
standard in her life when it came to dating. The choice for
abstinence is exactly the message
she still teaches young people today.
And, when she’s not being interviewed or busy speaking personally
herself, Trisha works full-time at Devry University counseling adult
students who are returning to college to full fill their goal of earning
a bachelor degree.
